Origin Of The Month

We’ve been busy!

The blog is back! We know it’s been a while, but it was for good reason. Striving for excellence in everything we do is core to who we are and we have been working hard to launch some really cool things for our amazing customers.

We live and breathe coffee every day. It’s a tough life! [Insert sarcasm emoji here 😊] The glorious smell of coffee roasting, the great taste of a fresh pour over, or spending time with our amazing coffee fam are all great reasons to get out of bed and get to work each day. There’s an even bigger reason we are excited to serve you each day. When someone purchases a drink or a bag of coffee from Baba Java, they are making a positive impact on farms, farmers, and communities that grow our beans. From wages that are up to 300% of Fair-Trade standards, to schools in villages where no school existed before, our customers are a part of some cool things. Excellence in education is one of our core values, so we want to do a better job of connecting you to those stories and letting you see the impact your purchases are making around the world.

Origin Of The Month Special

Baba Java Coffee is excited to introduce our new Origin of the Month program. Every month we will highlight one of our origins and share facts about it through our social media, blogs, and materials in our cafes. You will be able to purchase a 12oz pour over of the origin of the month for only $3 for the entire month. If you have never had a pour over before, there is no reason to put it off any longer. We will kick this new program off starting Monday, July 1st, and it will be available at all our cafes. The origin we are highlighting is our coffee from the Dominican Republic. The Spanish introduced coffee to the island, and it has become a national obsession ever since. This coffee has flavor hints of Dark Chocolate and Cranberry. We will share a blog next week that dives deeper into the coffee and culture of this unique origin.

More To Come

As mentioned in the opening, we have been working on multiple new ways to bring you amazing coffee. In the coming months you will learn about our new Origin Passport (track your progress as you try new coffees from around the world!), Coffee Flights (fill up that passport quick by sampling multiple coffees with your family or friends), a new Baba Java & Popbar Cafe in Homewood, and we opened a green coffee distribution location in Dubai! (That’s not a typo. DUBAI)

We are truly thankful for all our Baba Java Coffee customers, and we are thrilled to serve you each day. So grab a seat, watch the pour steady make your Dominican Republic pour over, scan the sign at the register and learn more about the journey of the beans used to create your drink. If you like what you are tasting and connect with the story you are reading on the month’s origin page, you can subscribe and have more delivered right to your door.
