The Best of Fall: Menu Highlights

We anticipate this time of year for months and months…the time of year when the leaves fall from the trees, and we break out our sweater weather outfit collections. We can feel it in the air, and can almost taste it! It’s FALL!

Now yes, Alabama heat is hard to shake in the months of September and October. However, school has started back and the days are getting shorter. You’re now able to get all things pumpkin, spice, cozy, and warm! Break out the sweaters. Pull out the flannels. Don those warm coats. Tis the season!

To celebrate, Baba Java’s Fall Menu offers five delectable drinks that are sure to impress and fulfill your cool weather aspirations. Whether you want hot or cold, coffee or non-coffee–we got you.

Here are your new favorite beverages.

Pumpkin Pie Latte

The Pumpkin Spice Latte, the PSL, is without a question iconic. Undoubtedly, this drink is the epitome of Fall for coffee shops. It can get a bad rap since it might be a tad “basic,” but we’re here for it.

A combination of pumpkin puree and warm spices, this drink keeps you all warm and cozy inside. Just imagine walking through a pumpkin patch with your Pumpkin Pie Latte in hand. The air is crisp and cool, and you’re with your friends. What could possibly be better?

Nothing beats a Pumpkin Pie Latte from Baba Java to get you all in the feels all Fall long!

The Flannel Camel

The Flannel Camel is for those who enjoy cold drinks all year round. It’s rich and creamy, but not too sweet.

This drink has a base of cold brew made from our Brazil Minas Gerais, boasting notes of chocolate and walnut. Then, it’s topped with the pièce de résistance: maple brown sugar cold foam! (Did we mention that the cold brew is perfectly sweetened with butter pecan syrup?!)

This masterpiece of a drink harnesses all the balance of autumnal vibes while quenching your thirst for something cool and refreshing. Alabama heat is hard to beat, even in the Fall months. There might be ebbs and flows with our weather, but the Flannel Camel remains consistently ever so delicious.

Lumberjack Latte

What warms your soul more than maple, bourbon, and pecan? The Lumberjack Latte flutters across your tongue and warms you up on a brisk, chilly day, and can be served up hot or cold.

This beverage is made from espresso and steamed milk with the addition of a house-made maple bourbon pecan syrup. We use local maple syrup, Old Forester bourbon, and a pecan extract that is sure to make your taste buds sing.

Creamy Apple Cider

Ever enjoyed a caramel apple on a November day? Yeah, that is what you get with this drink in latte form.

A non-coffee option for those who want something warm and comforting without the caffeine hit, our Creamy Apple Cider is made with apple juice and oat milk, sweetened with a perfect blend of caramel and Autumn spice syrup. We make our autumn spice syrup in-house with fresh cinnamon sticks, clove, and whole nutmeg.

It might taste like nostalgia for some. It might taste like the feeling of being curled up in a soft blanket with a good book. Whatever the situation or setting, this drink is sure to keep you snuggly and happy.

Draft Oat

The Draft Oat is exactly what it sounds like nitro cold brew on draft with oat milk added.

This combination creates the perfect ratio of coffee to milk, and is perfect for those who don’t drink dairy! To make the Draft Oat extra ideal for Fall, we offer Pumpkin Pie syrup as an additional ingredient.

The Draft Oat is fantastic for those warmer Autumn days but also hits the spot for cold drink connoisseurs who want a little wintry preview for their taste buds.

If you’re on your way to work or a pumpkin patch or want to camp out at one of our cafes—grab yourself a drink from our new Fall Menu and enjoy yourself! We will offer these drinks for all the months of September, October, and November at all of our locations, so you’re never too far from the best tastes of the season. Try our coffees in-cafe or online!

Happy Fall!
